Exchange rates

AbePay converts between your local currency and US dollars at the AbePay rate shown in the app. The rate you see when you confirm a deposit or withdrawal is the rate you get. Rates are set by AbePay and can change, so check the rate each time you transact.

Deposits

There is no separate charge added at checkout. You pay the local-currency amount you enter, and your Deriv balance is credited in US dollars at the rate shown. Your mobile money provider may apply its own charges under its own tariff; those are set by the provider, not by AbePay. Minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the app.

Withdrawals to M-Pesa

Withdrawals under $10 carry a flat KES 5 transaction fee, shown as its own line before you confirm. AbePay covers this fee on withdrawals of $10 or more — you receive the full amount at the rate shown, with nothing deducted.
